The sudden move by GOPers in the Senate to distance themselves from Moore sickens me because all of them know that if he wins the special election next month, McConnell will swear him in as their newest GOP senator from Alabama. The dude has already been seen in the Senate cafeteria having lunch with some GOPers last week—-some of them are the same senators that are now trying to get as far away from him as they can. No way am I believing they had no prior knowledge that Moore is an authoritarian-minded, despicable POS.

WaPo has a headline up that says the National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman is calling for the GOP to expel Moore from the Senate if he wins and saying he’s “unfit to serve”. I’ve used up my free reads, so I’m not sure how serious the statement actually is, but that seems pretty huge.
