No doubt. TBH I don’t advise doing what the Irish did with SSM and abortion rights being put up to the vote like that. I think certain rights like that are ingrained in our Constitution but what I was getting at was that I was surprised that abortion being legally wasn’t something that was just popular in the Irish Republic’s cities such as Dublin or Galway where I studied but it also passed in rural areas too as did SSM. What I think we’re going to need to do is have a federal bill that strengthens the right to choose. .

I think the Irish powers that be that put the abortion question up to a vote by the people had no freaking clue what door they opened.
