Seriously no one is forcing him to perform abortions or attend same sex marriages or to like non conservative Christians. He just can’t accept that they have the same rights as him and that hurts his fragile ego.

It’s the fragility of fundamentalism. If you allow someone to live differently than you, others may want to do the same thing, you (or your children!) might even want to do that.
