The Weather Underground died 5 years after Alinsky (1972) — And when Fox was ranting about Alinsky 12+ years ago, very few people even know who he was. The old Weather Underground is familiar only to elderly like me. A lot of these ancient tropes have no impact on the younger generations because they are totally unfamiliar with the groups and people involved.
