That isn’t fully true, James. Medicare and Social Security are two program we will not be able to tax our way out of. Major reforms of those programs will be required.

It’s too late at night for us to have the necessary debate with you on this issue, so let us both just agree that if debt is affecting NASA in such a way that we should be spending money even if it requires us to build up more debt, well companies/corporations go into debt to acquire resources that increase their bottom lines further down the line all the time….
