That part about going out of town where you have limes that will go bad while you’re gone and just have to be used up. The horror. The agony. The margaritas.

FOr me, limes are always more of an aspirational purchase. I buy them, imagining myself teaching The Younger Boy (who, unlike The Older Boy, drinks) to make Mojitos, or Daquiris, only to find them weeks later, uncut, unused, and looking uninviting.

I need to either drink more, or buy fewer limes.
