Aaand, just what we need. The rain, which was supposed to be out of here for a few days, is coming down fairly hard.
The chimney is leaking so water is dripping into the fireplace. Still. The guy came out last Saturday and did a bunch of patching, but apparently not the right spots. He’ll be back out in a couple days.
Still, it’s not like having one’s house/road/car under water. I just want to be done with it. There are too many things in my life that are “in process” or I’m waiting to hear back about or whatever. When I decide to be a grown-up (which at my age, I should be) I want to be able to check that stuff off as DONE.
