Re-watched Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind… skipping over some of the slower parts.

It doesn’t really hold up for me. Like so many films, I think it overly-dated itself by putting center stage way too much contemporaneous technology, and it now seems so old.

I watched it recently as well…not a bad film when it came out, but it was overly hyped at the time.
