I read about that earlier today. It is disgusting that the Supreme Court rejected the argument. Did they need the juror in question to show up for duty in a Klansman outfit to show there was undue bias? Or do conservatives just need their blood sacrifices death penalty that bad?

(I would be struck from a murder pool because of my opposition to the death penalty. Have there ever been any court cases challenging that sort of strike because a prosecutor is not getting a cross-section of the populace, but instead just picking out the bloodthirsty?)

As far as I can tell, the court decided in favor of the convicted man. Those three dissented.
