My mother’s pit bull is a creampuff (in behaviour and shape). The dog slobbers all over everyone who comes to visit her.

And I had neighbors with creampuff pitbulls. Raised from puppies in a good home. One day when the neighbors were gone they came over here and killed one of my cats, a cat they had known for a long time. And it was not a pretty death. I will not torture by describing it. The neighbors were aghast, and put the dogs down. They were afraid they would “play” like that with a small child.

So like I said, there are individual anecdotes. Not sure how that can be analyzed.
