Willkie if he hadn’t died prematurely could have been a great leader for the GOP post WWII. Not presidential material but a fine man.

He was actually younger than Eisenhower (born 1892 vs. 1890). If he had survived his heart attack at age 52, he could have been a factor into the 1970s.
