I thought it was Jack Ryan’s inauguration as Veep, leaving him as President and getting to rebuild the entire government. Tom Clancy’s right wing wet dream.

If you look back at them most of his novels were this or that right wing wet dream coming to fruition as America (or the conservative portion thereof) triumphs over this or that particular boogeyman getting their comeuppance.
