I remember a lot of mid to late 60s garage bands in and around northern Ohio used to use a lot of Traynor amps. I didn’t know they were still around. Or, is that a classic? They were decent priced and I think that made them popular.

They were manufactured in Canada - they got the nickname of ‘the Canadian Ampeg’ because they were every bit as rugged as the stuff St. Louis Music was making back then. Our local music store was a distributor, so quite a few local bands used their stuff.

I’m pretty sure that’s a newer one. The old ones were pretty non-descript, with black control panel and black Tolex. Same logo, though.
