You check out the newsstand and you see frontpage headlines that treat every utterance from Republican as undisputed fact. You pull up news websites and see “balanced” coverage that puts a Republican trying to bang his interns on the same level as a Democrat who once made a sexist remark back in 1980. And when you turn on the TV, you see “liberal” news networks bringing on pro-Trump commentators to tell folks about how Democrats are all a bunch of evil liars trying to overturn the election and stage a coup.

So I totally expect to hear before next November about how any economic downturn is totally the fault of Congressional Democrats and a significant fraction of the public to either buy it…or fall into the “no opinion” part of the pie chart.
