Well, it looks like Sears Holdings was sold to the man who sent it into Chapter 11 in the first place, over objections from the PBGC, where the pledge that Sears Holding’s trademarks were pledged to them, with the “fact” that Fast Eddie pledged that he’d do right by keeping employees and stores open.

The bankruptcy judge must have a very short memory, it seems. (Cf. Radio Shack, Toys R Us, etc.)
