My thinking is that someone blundered in taking Epstein off suicide watch and Epstein took full advantage of it. By killing himself, he avoids the consequences of his criminal acts.

Think of it like Hermann Göring; he cheated the hangman at Nuremberg by taking poison and killing himself. And it was also his final “fuck you” to the victorious Allies……like Hitler and Himmler and Martin Bormann, he chose to leave this world at the time and place of his own choosing - a final act of defiance.
