It just blows my mind that things like this are allowed to happen. It actually makes me feel strange for, you know, caring about what happens to the environment and actually WANTING my fellow Americans access to clean water and air.

Last spring I went hiking along a beautiful trail in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Today I find myself picturing that trail if it were heavily polluted and being completely appalled at it. I can’t help but think about all the current and future generations that will be IRREVOCABLY impacted by the fallout from decisions like this.

How many will drown?
How many sill starve?
How many will burn?
How many will die just so some mega corporations can make a few extra millions this quarter?

Absolutely horrid.
