Here’s a thought regarding Romney’s VP pick: what if he goes with Ron Paul? It helps tamp down any rebellion, gives him a youth boost, and might even mollify some religious nut jobs (Paul is anti-abortion and doubts evolution, IIRC).

The idea is that it has Paul shooting out of the tent, rather than into it.

I would laugh if he got Ron Paul as his VP. It would be Perot choosing Admiral Stockdale all over again, only with more economic illiteracy and shitty ideas.
