If you were a fetus you might have had better luck.

If you read the Ace of Spades (yeah, I know) blog post that David Corn links to, they were pretty much ignoring their GOTV volunteers and/or were so disorganized that a lot of those volunteers never got to do any groundwork on Election Day at all.

For a man who supposedly knows all about business, the simplest things seemed to escape people over at Romney HQ.
