I have never watched Fox News. What about the example of John Kerry? Swiftboating was bullshit from the start, but he did a lousy job of dealing with it. I think that doomed his campaign.
Like it or not, it is the candidates’ job to clear the decks. You can complain about my bringing the issue up this morning, but I forget who brought up the Romanian hacker who hinted he hacked her server, then acted all surprise that it made me think of the email scandal.
