The Founding Fathers made one very fundamental mistake when they wrote the Constitution. The Constitution includes a method for Congress to remove the President through the impeachment process while there is no similar means to remove a Member of Congress(MOC). MOCs can only be removed by the internal vote of the respective branch. Thus Congress members are only responsible to themselves, not the Executive Branch.
