On Cambridge Analytica, I think if Trump has to treat that as a non-story, because he’s up to his hips in it. But you never know. He just does stuff, with very little rhyme or reason.

The Senate does have to confirm the National Security Advisor when that person is in the military, due to laws surrounding military personnel and civilian government service. (That is why HR McMaster had to be approved, but Condoleeza Rice did not.)
