Yeah. A friend of mine’s kid shot the Sheriff (but he did not shoot the deputy) because he thought he was a bad man coming to rob the place. Shot him in the dark, at night. luckily just a flesh wound. My friend got a long long lecture about teaching target identification as part of gun safety.

Well, everyone survived. What the heck was the sheriff doing around there that made the kid nervous enough to open fire?
