Everything around you displays the time nowadays. Right now in front of me is the time displayed on both of my iPads, my kitchen radio, the microwave, and the oven + my iPhone.

And every time we have a power outage - there are a series of flashing lights demanding my attention. I still have to go find the instructions to sort out the oven.
