Of course he’s trending on Twitter. Unfortunately, he’s being lauded, which is annoying as hell, because he basically lied his way through life.

Steve Baughman is a San Francisco lawyer. He spent quite a bit of time tracking down Zacharias’ various fabulisms, such as that he had an earned doctorate and had taught at Oxford, among other things.

More sleazily, Zacharias had a long-distance relationship with a woman in Canada, forced her into signing an agreement silencing her, and then proceeded to thwack her. I am hoping that with his death, the woman who was silenced can now speak.

Frankly, Christian (read EVANGELICAL) apologetics looks horrible when it has to depend on these fabulists to defend it. No wonder their arguments suck. Whatever happened to faith?
