For all the talk about affirmative action, more people are accepted into college via legacies than via affirmative action. And legacies are far more likely to be white guys than any other demographic.

Ending affirmative action not only shuts off a way to rectify centuries of discrimination, but reinforces the power of legacies in college admissions.
