Just a touch of historical perspective for those blogs who have advocated making alliance with VB is similar to the Anglo-American alliance with Stalin against Hitler. Stalin had the Red Army, upon which Hitler battered the German Army against until shattered at Stalingrad (the turning point of the War in Europe—See Anthony Beevor, “Stalingrad”).
