I’m about to write my sister off with her stupid shit. The new wingnut thing is/was that Obama shut down the Amber Alert system for missing children. In reality all they did was take the website down during the shutdown, the program itself was untouched. But wait! There’s more… so no Amber Alert but Michelle Obama’s (who my sister called The Wookie) Let’s Move! thing is still happening in schools. Which is voluntary and doesn’t cost a thing to implement. I lit into her, haven’t heard a word back. The Amber Alert site is back up now btw, for whatever reason. I don’t want these fucking racist assholes around my kid (as bad as my sister is, my brother is worse). Yeah, the holidays suck because they’re the only family we have locally(and of course my parents choose to spend that time with them), but I cannot handle the racist stupidity.
