“Buy Greenland” needs to be an insult we use against politicians who are proposing something outlandish and then throwing a fit when they don’t get it.

“Hey, random anti-vaxxer, you want to exempt your little plague machine from society’s requirements? What’s next, do you want to buy Greenland too?”

I see potential for using this as a devastating dismissal of stupid ideas on social media, or with politicians from voters.

Basically, the political equivalent to “jumping the shark”
