About this Ricks thing.

In the Hollywood Reporter article, Clemente is quoted as saying:

“He apologized in our offices afterward but doesn’t have the strength of character to do that publicly.”

Ricks, of course disagrees:

“Please ask Mr. Clemente what the words of my supposed apology were. I’d be interested to know,” he said. “Frankly, I don’t remember any such apology.”

All well and good, but Clemente looks to me in this case as the poster boy for Fox News’ and the entire right wing’s fundamentally childish and destructive attitude. It boils down to: “If someone disagrees with you in your face (or worst of the worst, on air), then 1) cut them off, and 2) attempt to destroy them.”

And Clemente for his bald lie and attempt at character assassination (‘strength of character’ my ass) to the media, will still have a job tomorrow. It steams me.
