It’s only paint. You can fix it, don’t be scared.

I LOVE color. Our home is a 1970’s semi contemporary “cottage”. It was a mess when we bought it. We’ve totally remodeled it, inside and out. Our master suite is terra cotta with a harvest gold color. It’s warm and comfy. In the bath, there is terra cotta tile, the walls are terra cotta and the ceiling and trim are yellow/gold. The bedroom is the opposite color placement, terra cotta ceiling and trim with yellow/gold walls. Our dining room is sunflower yellow with brown trim and I just painted sunflowers on the walls. The No Longer a Teenager’s room is blue gray with a night sky painted on the ceiling (his choice, though the walls were the same blue with the solar system painted on it til he was 16 and decided he wanted the blue/gray and room for all his rock band posters). The outside is a caramel color with two darker versions of that color for the trim.

Pick colors you love, you really can’t go wrong.
