Yeah, I really wish there was someone else running who stood a chance of winning. Hillary is smart and I have no doubt she’d do a (mostly) good job in the office, but the bullshit that they’re just waiting to hurl around is going to be horrible and sad.

Thing is, I don’t know who could really challenge her and win. Sigh.

OK, quick reality check.

It does not matter who gets the Dem nomination, the Republicans will be throwing tons of horrible and sad bullshit. The difference between what we see with Hillary and what we see with this unknown other is that we already know the shape, color, and texture of most of what gets thrown at Hillary.

Once I realized that, I became a lot more comfortable with Hillary. I have other potential candidates I prefer, but I no longer cringe at the crap coming if it’s Hillary. (Well, no more than I cringe at the crap because a Democratic candidate is running.)
