My mother is the oldest person in my family at 76. She works at O’Hare six days a week as a musician.

I am the second-oldest person at 56. No one in my family could remember a male living as long as I have (that’s comforting).

I already gather that we are of similar ethnic stock (I am Slovak/Croatian/Bohemian/Hungarian) and while my dad kicked it at 52 of a heart attack, my mom and grandma lived to be 85 and 93 respectively.
