The world had made progress. Many western nations seem to be holding up fine, but the collapse of decency in the US and UK are more than a little alarming.

I’m pretty sure there have been points in history before where the reactionaries have gained the upper hand for a bit. It’s only permanent if we fucking give up and cede the field to them.

There are people out there right now who are taking this as a call to action and planning the next step. I find spending time around them and supporting them to be much better for my mental well-being as I dig in to fight too.

You can choose your community to be one that supports you as we fight back. It’s something I strongly, strongly recommend.
