As of a few minutes ago, it looks like 24 states have told Kobach and Trump to go fuck themselves in polite legal terms.

Kobach has always been a piece of work. He hasn’t cared so much about doing his job as Secretary of State so much as trying to disinfranchise minority and poor voters - the ones who’d be harmed most by the voter-ID laws and onerous requirements designed to fight a problem that simply is hyped all while suppression does far more harm.

A single person voting as someone else equals 2 total votes.

Kobach disinfranchising people can result in hundreds of thousands losing the right to vote and influence an election. That’s the real damage to society.
