WTF do you mean by “die-hard Dylan fans”? Are there “die-hard” Gershwin fans, or Fitzgerald fans, or Ray Charles fans, or for that matter “die-hard” Mozart or Beethoven fans?

I am a die-easy fan. I do not see fandom as a personal relationship, which is a mutual thing that changes and adapts over time as we change and grow. I like artists as long as they do things that please me and abandon them when they don’t quit.

I am a big fan of most anything Dylan did between Bringing it all Back Home and Desire and have pretty much ignored him since.
