Worked at the free meal at the church today. They had some sort of minestrone casserole that was really good, along with mixed greens, potatoes au grautin, blackeye peas, baked on site bread and a variety of similarly sourced cookies.

The inspiration may be well timed, since I came home to find that it’s time to stock up the old fallout shelter.
