I think he is still alive. No one is reporting that he will not be a Supreme Court Judge nominee.

An awful lot can happen between now and Monday.

I saw a tweet last night quoting a WH aide as saying that Trump wasn’t heavily invested in Kavanaugh, and that if he became too much of a story they’d dump him and ‘nominate someone else within 20 minutes.’

Saw a story this morning that said McConnell was lukewarm to Kavanaugh (or words to that effect).

Maybe they mean nothing. Or they could be bracing themselves for a hard landing.
