I can attest to that, having passed through Rucker last year to see the Army Aviation Museum on the way to PCB…the base is huge, not counting the acreage of all of the outlying auxiliary strips/facilities.

And Rucker is fair-to-middling compared to White Sands/Bliss, Hood, Bragg, Campbell, Benning. Then there’s the USAF and Norfolk.
