What is more likely? That this is a threat that will be followed through, ensuring Iran is leveled into a radioactive hellscape with a half life of ten thousand years? Every single political powerhouse in Iran, they’re all fanatically suicidal, huh? That’s really what you believe?

Or is this pandering politics, where the grandstanding from the Ayatollah keeps a destitute and beaten down population in line and distracted from their own misery and lack of freedom, by giving them an enemy to hate from afar?
