Regardless of grammer rules, I agree with the nuns that the “starting a paragraph with the word “I” is less effective than using another noun.

The constant use of “I” is perceived as

1-Pompous
2-self-centered
3-boastful
4-narcissitic
5-sociopathic
6-boring
7-Trumpish
