yeah there’s a base that will vote R no matter what. so it looks kind of competitive.

there’s a chunk of republicans or “Republicans” that don’t know what to do yet.
and there’s a bunch of undecideds
and there are those who just haven’t started paying attention yet

when the sanity mechanism kicks in the comparison will be stark.
competence and experience vs (almost any metaphor you like)

if the R’s go third party, ok it’s a 1/2 a vote. though disingenuous and weasely it accomplishes something.

enough of the rest will see it and vote D.
