It appears to me they already condone pastors molesting kids in their own churches. A former youth pastor of an Ohio church sexually abused a young member, and the church elders told the kid and her parents that they couldn’t come back to the church until the young girl apologized to the youth pastor’s wife. The youth pastor admitted that he molested the child, but the church elders seem to think she misled a grown *ss man. The judge in the case sentenced the youth pastor to 10 years in prison. The prosecutors wanted him to serve 20 years. A pic of the youth pastor showed him all teared up. Yeah, riiight. He knew what he did was wrong, and I think tearing up after ruining a child’s life is BS meant to persuade the judge/jurors to have mercy on him. What disgusted me was reading that the court received some letters of support from some church members.
