Haven’t use HP Sauce here at home (haven’t tried to find it here locally in Nashville, though I’m sure someone carries it), though I did taste some whilst dining at Eat My Pasty (best damn fish and fries/chips I’ve ever had, bar none; even the cole slaw was fantastic) back in June; it seems like A1 but better, with a bit of a kick.

Wow. That place is in range. Do they have a license for beer?
