This is a legitimate concern of Mr. Stone himself I’m sure. He is a crank, but not suicidal.

He is a rat and everyone knows it. He will talk unless someone shuts him up.

His big hope right now is a Trump pardon. If he feels that is not coming or if Trump is removed and tendered powerless Stone is going to sing like a canary in any criminal proceedings against the Trump Crime Family.

Accepting the pardon, though, opens him up to being forced to testify. A pardon isn’t a blank check.
