Geert Wilders has been denied entry into Great Britain. The leader of the PVV had been invited by a member of the British House of Lords to show Fitna in Parliament on Thrursday. However, today he received a letter from the British embassy in which he is denied entry into the UK.

According to Wilders “Great Britain is sacrificing her freedom of speech”.
“This is the sort of thing you expect in Saoudi-Arabia, not in Great Britain. I think this cowardly attitude of the British government is really awful. I have simply been invited by a member of the British Parliament.”

In the meantime Fitna has been shown in a number of countries, including Israel. Next week the film will be shown in the Italian Parliament and in a couple of weeks in the United States. Wilders is not sure whether he will resign himself to this state of affairs.

“I seriously consider putting the matter to the test by simply getting on a plane. Then I’ll find out what happens. But I’ll keep my options open because I first want to find out what the procedures are.”
