I think I’ve read about those guys before. It’s also amazing how many American businessmen had interests in the middle east, even back then. Lloyd George and Clemenceau made an incredible mess out of Versailles. Did you know the he (Lloyd George) offered Armenia to the US as an American mandate?

Wow, no, I had no idea about that. I need to find a good book on WWI as that seems to be when everything changed in a major way.
