Town's Officers Resign En Masse When First Black Mayor Elected

Well, back from court. They served the lumberjack in court after I talked w/the lawyer. Then it was wait a bit and he came back and said the ADA wasn’t willing to drop the charges against me and the only way to do that was to drop my charge. I told him it was a devil’s deal, but at least it meant I didn’t have to sit up there and repeat all the bullshit. I saw my granddaughter, her husband and her sister in law in the hall and none of them said a word to me, not when I first arrived or until we finally got the deal finished about 11:30.

I’m feeling totally defeated, but there’s nothing I can do about it. I told the lawyer that I wasn’t willing to see my g-daughter on the stand committing perjury, because she was going to say she saw the whole thing, in defense of her s-i-l.

She didnt witness anything, but even if she had, she didn’t come to my defense and that hurt more than anything else.
