It is curious how that works.

Everyone’s at the book burning and brought their own torches and books, but as the fire rages out of control, each claim that they didn’t have a role or weren’t significant to the fire.

Next up on the list of excuses…. “I was just following orders”.

As a reminder, neither is a successful defense against various criminal charges.
