This. There are several at my church who are convinced that as bad as Trumpenfuhrer is, a Clinton presidency would have been 1000x worse. 25+ years of brainwashing. I figured this would be the case an back before the election cycle I really hoped that she would sit it out. Would Clinton have made a good president? I think so (and voted for her) but we’ll never know. I am sure that if she had won we would have had a minimum of 2 or 3 Oklahoma City level right wing terror attacks by now and the GOP house would be have the impeachment done before the midterms.

It’s really unfortunate. On the flip side, it’s why I’m cautiously optimistic for 2020. I still think HRC was the right choice but we shouldn’t discount how many people were eager to vote against her. And despite that she still did win the popular vote.
